Series contents Chapter 1 of 19
Understand your Masters and choose your next worthwhile upgrade. 13 guides and 6 practical reference sheets on Valora, Pan and Roman: a clear explanation, a next step, and the useful details close at hand.
See the series overviewUse your free journeys. Settle the Masters whose benefits you will actually use. Then choose a specific upgrade, rather than trying to complete an entire character. That is your starting point.
You may also see them called Experts in discussions. Here, that refers to the same characters the English game calls Masters. This series covers Valora, Pan and Roman, along with the system they share.
What you can do right now
1. Open Realm Journey. It lets you meet Masters and earn Affinity. Use your free Journey Supplies; you do not need to buy every bundle to get started.
2. Keep two milestones in mind: 50 journeys, then 60. The first unlocks Auto Journey. The second unlocks Lostlands, where you can choose a Master you already know. These are progression goals, not a reason to pay for everything today.
3. Identify the two main resources. Master Emblems are needed to advance relationships. Master Manuscripts are used for skills. A large supply of one cannot replace the other.
4. Choose the next benefit you want. More rewards from Bear Hunt? Look at Valora. Better returns from gathering and daily activities? Pan. More Arena rewards? Roman.
5. Start learning a useful skill. All Masters share one learning queue. Before using speedups or making a large investment, check the current event and your kingdom's guidance too.
Do not confuse these two numbers
1,000 Affinity points allow a Master to settle in your Town. Affinity level 100 is a much more distant goal, reached after they settle.
You therefore do not need to reach level 100 to benefit from a Master. Their starting Expertise can already be useful.
Pick your starting point
| Your question | Where to find the answer |
|---|---|
| I do not understand the system | Understanding Masters |
| I want to unlock Pan or Roman | Journeys and Lostlands |
| I am stuck on an upgrade | Reading your progress |
| I do not know whom to prioritize | Choosing for your account |
| An encounter offers several answers | Encounter answers |
| I need an exact cost | Skill costs |
| I want to identify an icon or screen | Finding your way in the game |
A good first plan fits in one sentence
“I want to reach this milestone to get a bonus I will use. Then I will review my options.”
For example: “I take part in every Bear Hunt, so I am aiming to unlock Valora's extra hammers.” That is more useful than “I am putting all my resources into Valora.”
You do not need to study thirteen chapters before you play. Read the one that answers your question. The reference sheets keep the figures and answers within easy reach.
